Happy Monday...
Silas enjoying his scooter after nap time. It's grainy because the lighting was bad, but hey...what can you do? He's still cute.

Happy Birthday Elie!
Ok, so I'm actually 4 days early on this, but sweet little Eliana is almost 1! I can hardly believe it. She was here for a bit today and I snapped a few pictures of her darling self. Happy Birthday Elie girl!

If you're looking for some free entertainment for your child, this might possibly be the world's best paper airplane. I would highly suggest making one for your kiddos. With any luck it will provide hours of entertainment for them, just as it has done for our 3 year old.

Leaves...
I've been promising Owen for weeks now that we would go to our old house to rake some leaves to jump in (you know, since the twigs we have for trees at our new house don't produce too many leaves). We decided this afternoon was a perfect time for this adventure. However, as we drove up to our old house we realized that the fellas were in the process of mowing up the leaves. Bummer. So instead, we headed to my childhood home and thoroughly enjoyed the plethora of leaves there. It was a beautiful afternoon and brought back some wonderful memories for me. I also decided that fall leaves are significantly more enjoyable when you're not the one responsible for getting rid of them. I think it's safe to say that the boys had a fun afternoon, and Mama's heart was definitely filled to the brim. Happy Fall!

Craft day...
Today, I actually did something for myself....while the boys were awake! I usually don't attempt to do any of my hobbies while the boys are awake because it often ends up in a disaster and we're all frustrated. I'm just not the best at multi-tasking (a.k.a chaos). But today, we actually managed. Yes, Silas is still in his pajamas, but hey. I got to have some fun, and that's worth a lot if you ask me. So thanks to this tutorial, I made the following wreath:

Also, we finally got our dining chairs. I love them:

Hope y'all have a cozy weekend!

A quote from Owen...
As we were walking near the orchard at the pumpkin patch today, we came across a horrid smell.
Me: "Ew. What is that smell? It smells awful."
Jamaica: "Maybe there's a dead animal somewhere."
Owen: "Actually, I think it's God's breath."
Ummm...

Pumpkin Patch: Take 2...
Only this time we went with some good friends (or should I say cousins? They definitely qualify as both). We actually had a few hours of sun while we were there, which made it really nice for the kiddos. And now my two little ones are asleep upstairs and I am curled up by the fire with my computer and a hot cup of coffee (even if it is microwaved from this morning). Ahhh...
Did I mention I LOVE fall?
