If I could just freeze time...

I wish I could somehow bottle up time and just keep Ezra as a two year old forever.  He is at the absolute sweetest stage (when he's not being a stubborn two year old!).  Last night, C.J. found him sitting outside on the deck by himself all wrapped up in a blanket.  The sun was setting and as C.J. walked up to him Ezra said, "Look at the mountains.  Aren't they beautiful?"  Here was our two year old just sitting outside soaking up the beauty of the sunset by himself.  I mean, seriously.  Also, a couple mornings after we brought Grace home from the hospital, Ezra climbed into our bed just as the sun was coming up.  When he saw Grace he exclaimed, "She's beautiful!"  He can't say any word that starts with S and another consonant properly, and it's adorable.  Spinning is pinning. Stop is top. Smoothie is foodie.  And with smoothie, his bothers have encouraged him to try to say it properly.  When he tries it goes like this, "F, f, f, Foodie!"  The list could go on and on, but I really just wish I could pause time.  I adore this boy and adore the stage that he is at.  I am so incredibly thankful for all four of my children.  I am blessed beyond anything I could have imagined and praise God daily for each of them.

A Few Phone Photos...

This summer, I started using Instagram again and because of that I haven't picked up my regular camera much at all.  Now that Grace is here, I've told myself that I am going to do a better job of that.  We'll see how that goes.  Until then, here are a couple of pictures from my phone that I didn't include on Instagram but didn't want to lose.  I absolutely adore this sweet girl!

Photos from Grace's Birth...

I still can't believe that this precious baby girl is really here and is really ours.  After such a long, hard, complicated pregnancy, I am so incredibly thankful to have her in my arms.  I truly can't thank God enough for protecting her life.  She is a miracle indeed and I am so desperately in love with her!  These photos were all included in the slideshow, but I wanted to add a few stills to the blog for the sake of making this blog into a book later on.  Slideshows with music don't exactly fit into a book too well!  :)  And for the record, since I didn't note the stats of her birth earlier:

Sweet Baby Grace...

We are so incredibly thankful that our precious baby girl is here and healthy.  She truly is a miracle and we praise God constantly for her.  My sister, Allison, was kind enough to photograph Grace's birth and put together this slideshow for us.  To me, these memories are priceless.  If you want to see the pictures better, feel free to watch it full screen.  Hope you enjoy it!
