Fair Fun...

I'm really only posting these so the boys will have proof that I did, in fact, take them to the fair (and also because Alli convinced me to even though the photos are not the best).  It's been a few years since we have gone (excluding shifts at the school booth), and I have to say that we actually had a great time!  Even though it was a Saturday afternoon, there were three of them and one of me, and we spent six and a half hours there, it was one of the best days we've had together in a long time.  Sometimes, you just need to stop and have fun together, even if it does cost an arm and a leg and you eat every sweet treat ever created.  This time, it was totally worth the splurge.

Ezra's New Friend...

We've been eyeing this fella at Cotsco for several weeks now and every time we pass him, Ezra nuzzles his face right into Mr. Bear's belly.  So today when we were getting groceries and Ezra's face lit up at the sight of him, I just couldn't resist.  Technically he is a Christmas present and will be hidden (and therefore forgotten) by the end of the day.  We shall see.  I mean honestly, who could possibly bear to separate these two friends?  Pun intended.

photo cred: I snapped the first one in the parking lot at Costco.  Alli took the others.

Play Dough...

We welcomed this wonderful first day of fall with some freshly made cinnamon scented play dough.  The boys thoroughly enjoyed it, and I didn't even panic about the mess!

Blue Friday...

I finally got a jersey to go along with all my boys.  Since my mom happened to be here on this fine Blue Friday morning, I asked her to snap a picture of us to document the momentous occasion.  Clearly, that was a big success:

But still... GO HAWKS!!!

Sometimes friends...

Owen is my football buddy.  If we have a game on, he typically plops himself in the chair right next to the tv and watches, regardless of who is playing.  If it's the Seahawks, he won't miss a play.

This evening, Owen and Silas were upstairs playing Legos together.  Owen came into the kitchen to grab something and I said, "Let's watch the Broncos!"  He replied, "I might not.  I want to spend some time with my brother!"

I pray he always wants to spend some time with his brother, even when they are grown.

Everyday Moments...

I am slightly tempted to apologize for the recent burst of photos.  But then, I'm pretty sure there are like three of you out there who check my blog on a regular basis.  So really, I do this for me.  And for my boys.  Therefore, I will continue to post photo after photo after photo.  And I will snuggle on the couch with my boys a few months or years down the road and we will enjoy each and every photo.  So here, take a peak at Ezra taking a peak into the kitchen:

Dude. Toddlers.

In case you forgot what it is like to try to get spaghetti sauce in the crock pot when you have a toddler around:

When Ezra is missing...

If you didn't find him behind any of the curtains, you will likely find him here:

Just because these are too cute not to post...

When Ezra is missing...

This is likely where you will find him.  Or hiding behind some other curtain in the house.

Go Hawks!!!

Oh, the joy of football season and fall. Pretty hard to beat!

Same shot from the Hawk's first game last year:

They are at it again...

Only this time they were not quite as eager to let me document the occasion.  Hence, the terrible quality phone picture.
P.S. Owen is SO incredibly tall, in case you hadn't noticed.
