Mother's Tea...

Yesterday, Owen and his class gave a tea party for their mothers and let me just say, it was SUCH a treat! The boys worked really hard to put on such a special event, but I'm pretty sure most of the credit goes to their teacher for putting out so much effort simply to bless us mothers. And blessed I was! I did manage to make it through the afternoon without crying, which is a small victory. Owen, thank you so much for all of the goodies. You bring so much joy to my life! And thank you, Mrs. Q., for making this happen. Honestly, I thoroughly enjoyed myself!

Life is good...

And he's off...

This is Silas.  He is three.  He learned to ride a bike.  And he is a goofball.  Enough said.

Easter in Seattle...

Holy toledo, it has been a while since I blogged!  But we did have a wonderful Easter in Seattle celebrating our Savior's Resurrection.  Here's the proof:

Puppies...

A few weeks ago (yeah, I know it's been a while since I've posted!) Alli and I took the boys out to our uncle's property to see his puppies. Holy toledo are they cute! The boys thoroughly enjoyed seeing them. Al's family even gets to take one home as soon as they move! Here are a few pics from the outing:

Boys...

Today my sister watched Silas for me, so I had just Oliver and Owen with me in the car after school during the 40 minute drive to town to Alli's. It's not very often that I get to hear these two five year old boys' conversation for so and let me just say, it was quite the experience. It went a little something like this: "Let's build an obstacle course. Yeah, and let's have a bouncy house made of knives and filled with poop. And then the loser gets punched in the face. Haha. Yeah, and then after he gets punched in the face he falls in the poop. Hahaha." And this went on for 40 minutes. As they were sitting in the back thoroughly amusing each other, I thought to myself, "What would a conversation between two five year old girls sound like? Do they talk about princesses and rainbows and unicorns and hearts?" Now, don't get me wrong. I LOVE having boys. I wouldn't trade my two little masculine fellas for the world. But sometimes I do wonder what life with girls is like...
