I wish I could somehow bottle up time and just keep Ezra as a two year old forever. He is at the absolute sweetest stage (when he's not being a stubborn two year old!). Last night, C.J. found him sitting outside on the deck by himself all wrapped up in a blanket. The sun was setting and as C.J. walked up to him Ezra said, "Look at the mountains. Aren't they beautiful?" Here was our two year old just sitting outside soaking up the beauty of the sunset by himself. I mean, seriously. Also, a couple mornings after we brought Grace home from the hospital, Ezra climbed into our bed just as the sun was coming up. When he saw Grace he exclaimed, "She's beautiful!" He can't say any word that starts with S and another consonant properly, and it's adorable. Spinning is pinning. Stop is top. Smoothie is foodie. And with smoothie, his bothers have encouraged him to try to say it properly. When he tries it goes like this, "F, f, f, Foodie!" The list could go on and on, but I really just wish I could pause time. I adore this boy and adore the stage that he is at. I am so incredibly thankful for all four of my children. I am blessed beyond anything I could have imagined and praise God daily for each of them.
