Blessed...

We are so incredibly thankful to be able to say that baby #3 is officially on the way at our house!! God has blessed us immensely and we praise Him! This little one gave us a bit of a scare at first, but everything looks healthy and normal now. We are so thrilled to be adding another precious life to our family, and are even more thankful that we didn't have to go through fertility junk to get there! This little one is expected to arrive around February 28, which happens to be an extra special day since it's my Grandpa's birthday. So, that's what is going on in our house right now. We'll keep you posted when we find out whether it's going to be a little brother or little sister! And for now, we are just thrilled with God's goodness to us (and a little nauseous, tired, and irritable)!

Celebrating Cameron...

A few weeks ago, my beautiful mother-in-law hosted a going away BBQ for C.J.'s brother Cameron who is leaving for medical school in Florida. We got to meet his special gal, Shannon, and thoroughly enjoyed doing so. We are so proud of Cam and his hard work and loved getting to spend this special day with family!  Cameron and Shannon:

Lemonade...

The boys had their first ever lemonade stand the other day at Daddy's office. It proved to be quite lucrative thanks to all of C.J.'s coworkers. The problem is, these boys are going to think having a lemonade stand means sitting there for thirty minutes before you sell out of product and earn a bunch of money. But hey, they loved it!

Quite possibly my favorite place on Earth...

We just returned from yet another glorious camping trip to the beach. Honestly, I can't describe the joy and contentedness I experience during this trip. Kalaloch has always held a special place in my heart since it holds a lot of my favorite childhood memories. But there is something about going there now with my husband and boys that I just can't describe. I think it definitely takes getting away from the duties of life and home ownership to be able to stop and truly enjoy life. Enjoy my boys. Enjoy my husband. Enjoy my extended family. Enjoy God's beautiful creation. Enjoy a campfire and a good s'more. And going to the same place every year to escape responsibility and enjoy the simple blessings God has given us is something I cherish more than I can express. And just like always, I have way too many pictures. But at this point in my blogging ventures I really don't care how many there are...maybe it will make up for the next couple of months that I don't pick up my camera. And one last thing, C.J. and I just might possibly turn into that old couple that sells their house and travels the U.S. in their RV when they retire. I mean seriously, no weeding, or mowing, or watering, or sweeping, or mountains of laundry, or dirty floors...
