Take a peak into our house today:

While I would say that this has been the easiest adjustment we've had with all of our babies, it has definitely still been an adjustment. If I could describe it briefly, I would simply say life is full. I am managing with the essentials of life, but nothing else. The pictures above show what our house looks like a majority of the time right now. And it's easy for me to feel a bit discouraged and/or overwhelmed. But I feel like God has really put it on my heart to savor the good and the blessings of this brief period of life instead of focusing on what isn't getting done. For example, I can look at the pictures above and think to myself, "The laundry didn't get put away. The boys' toys have been littered throughout the house all day. I can't even manage to cook a meal without a baby in my arms (or in the front pack more accurately)." Or, I can look at the pictures above and choose to think, "We have clean clothes to wear and the laundry got washed. I have children healthy enough to make Kinect creations and then run around outside together without putting their toys away. I am blessed with another precious baby who wants nothing more than to be snuggled next to Mama. And we ate a hot home cooked meal for dinner!" It truly is about perspective. Yes, life is full and at times I feel pulled in a million directions. But I have three healthy precious boys, a cozy home, and more than enough to wear and eat. I am blessed!

YES! Your job is not laundress and personal chef, but mother. The kids won't remember the pants hanging from the bed (which I love, by the way) but that you had time to hold and play with them. So basically, you're nailing it :) Way to go, Mama! I'm so happy for you and your full house. And if it helps you on days when it's hard not to see the mess, remember this: those pictures still look way better than my house does on a good day!
Wise word! And... Your dinner looks yummy! :-)
Are you kidding me?!?!? Your making dinner!!! So impressed with you!! You are doing well, friend!! :)
