Yesterday we took Owen for his first sledding adventure (Silas came too, but he can't do much sledding yet. He was content to just sit in his baby sled...until he got too cold). One of the things I have looked forward to most living here on The Bluff is sledding. Our house is about a 1/4 mile from the big sledding hill we enjoyed when I was growing up. I have envisioned trekking out to the hill with the kiddos, enjoying a few good runs, and then coming back in to a cozy house and warming up with some hot chocolate by the fire. And yesterday, we got to do just that. Man, having kids is a blast. You should try it. You can't help but be joyful in life when you have little ones. My heart has been wonderfully full these last few days with the snow and the upcoming holidays. Suffice it to say that I am thankful. Thankful for my husband, my boys, this house, getting to be a stay-at-home mom, snow, and for my Savior who has given us so much to be thankful for....most importantly, Himself. Hope you have a wonderful day tomorrow and that you truly appreciate your blessings this Thanksgiving!

"Man, having kids is a blast. You should try it. You can't help but be joyful in life when you have little ones." Tearing up and smiling at the same time :-) A beautiful post! Keep meaning to get back to you about a coffee date... we'll have to have one soon.
Happy Thanksgiving!
