A smattering of things...

First, I took few pictures of our sweet, blue-eyed baby:

But then he got mad, so I stopped:


Then, a filthy and dusty Owen got to take a bath in Mommy and Daddy's bathtub (mostly because it was the option closest to the door):


And once he was cleaned up, he decided to play peek-a-boo behind our (obviously handle-less) closet door:


Later, we got a visit from Davey Crockett himself:


And also a visit from this sweet girl:


But the very best part of all (and the main reason for this post) is that there's a little something that happens as a result of child-bearing that nobody ever really talks about. Hair loss. And then the subsequent baby hair. So in case you've never had a baby before, you really ought to know that while you are pregnant, you will not lose one single hair. And then about 6 weeks after you have your baby, you will pretty much go bald...ok, maybe not bald but you will definitely lose a fist-full every day. And then you will grow these incredibly frustrating pokie-outie baby hairs that pretty much make it impossible to do anything presentable with your hair. It's awesome. Really. And this, folks, is the result of my shower this morning. No, I did not clean out the drain. This is simply what collected in my hands as I washed my hair today: (sorry it's so disgusting, but it was so outrageous that I felt I really needed to share)



So there you have it. A little update on life at the Bluff.
