I did it people...I actually got my camera out!!! And the big event that merited such a move? our annual camping trip to the beach. This past week was spent at Kalaloch campground with my parents, siblings, and their families (even Uncle Ryke was there!). It was definitely my favorite year at the beach with Owen so far...he is finally old enough to thoroughly enjoy camping, playing in the sand, throwing rocks in the stream, snuggling in the tent, cocoa in the mornings, playing with his cousins, etc. So here are a few pictures for you. There are a bunch more in the picasa album. At any rate, we had a super fun time and can't wait until next year!

They are best buds MOST of the time, but then there are the moments where they are figuring out who is the dominant male...we're hoping that in a couple of years they'll just be best buds. Regardless, they love spending time together:

Love the update. Kalaloch is a great spot and looks like you had nice weather, too.
Yay for pictures! I love the one of Ryker and Owen and the bike, and the sandcastle one too! The one of Holland is so pretty and very well exposed - how do you do that on a sunny beach? Can't believe how tall Owen looks in his rolled up jeans. And love the JD fruit snacks! I'll be calling you soon to get the full update!
Oh Jen, as usual I LOVE the pictures! It looks like you guys had some gorgeous weather. We *just* missed you-- we couldn't get out there until Friday afternoon-- but we were thinking about you and hoping you'd had a good trip. Looks like you did :)
