One of Owen's favorite things to do lately is play Candyland. Granted, he needs some pretty substantial guidance to play the game properly, but it just boggles my mind that our little boy could even be old enough to begin to play a board game. He asks to play it just about every evening before bed time...and typically we give it a whirl. He's still working on getting his colors down, but he is certainly enjoying the process. Here are a couple of pictures of Owen and Daddy playing the other night:

We gave that game and Chutes and Ladders to Gabe for his birthday. He wants to play it a million times a day. We had to weed out the double colors because it got too confusing to go that far ahead, but he knows his colors, so, thankfully, the game speeds right along :-) Owen is growing into such a big boy! How old is he now?
