Christmas with the Labbees...

So I know it has taken me a little while to get around to this, but I guess that's what happens when life is filled up with fun festivities! For us, Christmas Eve and the few days prior were spent with the Labbee fam at Mom and Dad's house in Seattle. Normally it is hard for me to leave this side of the state at Christmas time because we trade in our winter wonderland for rainy and often dreary Seattle. Not this year! With about a foot of snow on the ground, Seattle couldn't have felt more Christmasy. It was fun to get all the wee ones together and was ESPECIALLY fun to spend some time with Uncle Ryker. Mom and Dad, thanks for having us! It's always fun to spend time together! Just as a side note, after I looked through the pictures I realized I don't have a single one of Oliver that is in focus...maybe that's because he is SO busy and is never in one place for very long! Sorry Al, hopefully you have a couple of him that you can post!

Holland was the only one who happily wore her costume for the Nativity play. Here she is trying out the halo:

Grandma and I took Owen outside to build a snow man thinking it would be lots of fun. Apparently it wasn't. He basically fussed and/or threw a fit the whole time. Maybe next time we'll try building the snowman AFTER nap time!

So the other day C.J. and I were at Costco and he said he needed some socks. I, however, am the one who does the laundry and know for a fact that he has about a billion pairs. So, I kindly tell him that he has more socks than anyone I know and that he certainly does NOT need another package. Judging by this picture, I was apparently wrong. Maybe next time I will look more closely while folding his socks!
