Today Owen had his 1 year check up. After waking up at 4:00 AM, he was already in a pretty fussy mood before we even got to the doctor's office...which is not good since he usually gets REALLY fussy and fever-ish when he gets his shots. But he has held up surprisingly well. With some Tylenol and a whole bunch of attention, he has managed to have a pretty normal day. Sadly, this was our last appointment with Owen's current doctor who is moving to Florida...BUT....we got some really good news: Owen now gets to go to Dr. Simms!!! When he was born, Dr. Simms was the only doctor who could tell us exactly what was going on with his arm and we REALLY liked his demeanor. We then asked if he could take Owen, but we got turned down 3 times because they told us he's not accepting new patients. However, since our current doc is leaving, we get first pic of the other docs in the clinic...so we now get to go to our #1 choice in the first place, which Mama is pretty happy about. I never knew I cared about doctors so much until I had a baby! Here are his stats from the appt.:
Height: 32 inches.... 96%
Weight: 24 lbs. 7 oz... 72%
Head: 47.2 cm... 72%
