Davy: the littlest version...

Thank you, Tucker, for letting us borrow your hat. It has been well loved and we promise to return it soon!

The little one...

I am posting these pictures primarily because they so accurately portray our little guy right now. And I never want to forget his sweet little defiant, strong-willed, 16 month old self.

Happy Easter: He is risen!!!

Today, we rejoice in the fact that our Savior is risen! And I can honestly say that I love my Lord more today than I ever have before and am completely in awe of His amazing sacrifice for us. Praise our loving, faithful God!

And with that, here are a whole bunch of pictures...

Ten on Ten: April...

Ok, so I have to confess that I kind of cheated this month. I actually took all of these pictures yesterday (the 9th). But since we no longer have internet access at our house, these posts take a bit more planning ahead of time so that they actually get uploaded to the internet. And let's just ignore the fact that it's actually 16 pictures in total. But hey, it's a post nonetheless. Hope you enjoy it!

And then there is this sweet little baby that I happened to take a few pictures of yesterday. Isn't he adorable?

Brothers...and some other random stuff

"Mom, can you please take a picture of us?" I'm assuming you can guess which brother posed the question:

And here are a few shots of the boys just doing life together. It's incredibly fun to watch them grow and play together. As their Mama, I am soooooooo thankful they have eachother.

In other news, the canal filled up for the season yesterday. Last summer Silas was immobile and Owen was old enough to understand the danger of the canal, so I felt relatively safe. This summer, however, is a totally different ball game. Silas, being the mischievous go getter that he is, has absolutely no concept of the canal being a danger and also has an uncanny ability to climb and access all non-child friendly objects. And although we have a 5 foot fence around our entire yard, Silas is that 15 month old child who would some how finagle a way over the fence just to roam free. I guess my visions of letting the boys play outside together while I get stuff done will have to wait a few more summers.

And finally, I want to note that Sunday will mark the one year anniversary of life in our new house. I seriously can not believe it has been a year already. We are still very thankful to be here and can officially say that it now feels like home. And hopefully the next 50 years here will not go as fast as this first year did.

I guess that's all for now. So until next time, hope you all have a fabulous joyful weekend!
